A nice enough campground ,seems to be mostly long term residents. The reason for this review is to advise potential campers that if you are going to stay here, don芒鈧劉t stay on the west side of the campground , in the vicinity of site 20.The neighbor to the campground has many bull mastiff dogs in cages, constantly fighting and you will get no sleep at night.

Campground nice, spots open. Quiet. Friendly campers. Not happy that they charge more than Passport America published rate claiming to pay $5 extra for a pull thru. Don芒鈧劉t mind paying what I know I芒鈧劉ll pay but don芒鈧劉t like a park that has hidden or extra fees than what is on apps. Trickery to get you there is not cool.

As others have stated, reservation system is inept. There is no written confirmation so they can make changes at will. Rates fluctuate also since they won芒鈧劉t commit in writing. Two years ago I would give it five stars but unfortunately it is getting run down. BBQ area is a mess with trash in the fire pit. Both Christine and especially her sister Nikki need some customer service skills. Most sites are roomy with nice landscaping. Awesome desert hiking in back of RV park. No picnic tables and very limited amenities.

We had made reservations for a specific site and even visited the park a week earlier for confirmation of our reservation. We were scheduled to stay three weeks. All seemed in order. We showed up the day of our reservation (a 60 mile trip) and found out our reserved site was occupied by someone else. After speaking with Christine (the owner), she offered us another site for one night, then we would have to move to another site. Neither of these was even remotely as nice as the site we had reserved. Christine seemed not to care one iota. The lack of professionalism and integrity was shocking to say the least. She did say she looked forward to seeing us 芒鈧搉ext year芒鈧. We don芒鈧劉t THINK so. This park芒鈧劉s reservation system is antiquated to say the least. They use white boards and paper to track reservations. Interestingly, our names were on this white board the previous week next to the site we had reserved. On the day of our arrival, our names were no longer there. We have RVed for years and have never encountered such an experience before. Because of the ineptitude and lack of competent management systems in this park, we do not recommend it.

Ok spot and wifi works ok, but slow. No showers or public restroom. Won't be back.

Great quite park for overnight or 2-3 days stay. 8-10 minutes from shopping and resturants. Easy drive to Tubac, few minutes to desert park. We will be back with our 38' MH and tow.

Very quiet park with paved roads and gravel sites. Park is several miles away from main Tucson area, so it is quiet but several miles from shopping and other facilities. Some sites have trees or bushes that provide shade, making it quite comfortable even in warm weather. Many miles of hiking trails in the clean desert just behind the park. Owner was friendly and helpful, but only available for limited hours during the day. Laundry room was clean and reasonably priced. Free Wi-Fi was available only at the clubhouse.

Wonderful place to camp. I give it highest rating because of the wonderful hiking trails in the pristine desert right in back of the campground. Very quiet, and beautiful vistas.
