Country Cactus RV had a lot of good things about it. The streets were paved and the spots were level although they were very close together and there wasn鈥檛 much of a view except maybe at the end of the street the bathrooms and showers were immaculate. The pool and hot tub was well maintained and very clean. The residents were very nice. The maintenance crew kept a place in top notch condition. They had several nice social activities, such as a band once a week, ice cream, social, church on Sunday, coffee, and donuts once a week and other activities. The downside to the park was probably the check-in process. They were not accommodating at all when we made the reservation we were told and it was emphasized we had to arrive before 3 o鈥檆lock or we鈥檇 have to wait until the next day. There was no wiggle room on this and they are not open on Sunday so you couldn鈥檛 check in on Sunday. Several people complained about the girl at the front desk and initially she did seem a little aggressive, but after we talked a while, we felt like she was just a stickler for rules and wouldn鈥檛 bend them. There were several spots empty in the park so we were confused as to why they were so adamant about arriving by three. We were told that the reason was the maintenance crew got off at three and every RV had to be parked or directed by the maintenance and they had to be there to do it. The cost was pricey for a week or two weeks but if you stayed a month, it was two weeks plus $50 so that鈥檚 what we did is booked a month. The laundry room was very clean and except when everyone was using a washer, it did get water on the floor because the drain pipe wouldn鈥檛 take it all so that was disappointing, but at least they had washer and dryers.

We loved our one month stay here. Yes, there are a lot of long-timers and even some who are here year-round, but we found everyone to be very friendly. We loved the attached cactus garden (I loved sitting in the comfy chair and reading), just a 15 minute drive to East Saguaro National Park, and lots of unofficial trails in the surrounding desert. The one downside is the small site size. But it is not unusual for an RV park. We definitely would like to return.

Pulled in at 5:03pm instruction said fill out packet if no packets call us. We called no answer several times so we left a message saying we are parking in spot 3 we will settle with you in the morning. there were at least 10 sites we could fit in. All the sudden she芒鈧劉s comes out of nowhere saying you can芒鈧劉t just pick a spot can芒鈧劉t you read, there was a old bleached no vacancy sign about 3芒鈧 tall that you could barely read only after she pointed it out, she was extremely rude I would go 18 minutes down the road and stay at a much nicer park nobody deserve to be he treated like that

This is a nice RV park. We knew upon booking that it was more of a long term place. So we weren芒鈧劉t caught off guard by the clutter & permanent structures. The sites were spacious and had a large concrete pad with portable fire pit. Two laundry facilities, pool, hot tub. The long term residents are definitely more entitled to the property & they芒鈧劉re not afraid to let you know. Wither it芒鈧劉s with their hateful demeanor or how they speed past you because they are obviously in a huge hurry to make their tee time. Ya know, typical the rules don芒鈧劉t apply to me attitude. All in all it was a decent stay. I DONT recommend the dog park! It芒鈧劉s full of cactus, obviously, and our little pup wasn芒鈧劉t a fan of getting them all in her paws. Plus we were told it芒鈧劉s full of rattlesnakes. They have a large part of the park where pets aren芒鈧劉t allowed. So keep that in mind.

Very nice park! Technically a 55 and older park but they allow younger people for short term stays. Very quiet. Well laid out and nicely landscaped. Paved roads, level, gravel sites. Huge dog park, just beware of the potential for rattlesnakes in the rocks on one side. Nice pool area with hot tub. Laundry facility is pretty big and acceptably clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Evidently the have camper AGE restrictions and I was denied booking with my 1969 Roadrunner 11芒鈧劉 camper that I just bought and have started restoring. Ok so it needs a paint job, but it芒鈧劉s also being pulled by a brand new Ford Transit in order to work the fair for a reputable brand. I was also told I needed to have a toilet that hooks to the sewer hookups for sanitation reasons. I am dumbfounded as this is really a hard shell tent and tents are allowed... I also would be working 12+ hours per day so the camper would not even be on property during the day. Ridiculous.

Stayed 4 nights in a 25 foot motor home. Great staff who accommodated us for extra nights due to problems with out toad. A lot of snowbirds so very quiet. Close to the east national park entrance. Local walking trails by the park and close to shopping. Would stay here again.

Stayed during Christmas 2018 through January. Renters mostly retired older folks like me. Sites are gravel. Asphalt drives in and out to Houghton Rd. Clean quiet park well run. Dogs are separated from us who do not have dogs. Also has modular permanent homes in the park. Laundry facilities are good. Some road noise from Houghton Road and I-10 but tolerable. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Everybody I met in the park was very nice and friendly. Park is surrounded by State Trust Land with natural desert plants. Would stay here again and would recommend it.

Spaces are pretty tight. We had two dogs so they put us close to the dog park which is spacious and clean. Long timer behind us had two pit bulls that would bark at us. That wasn芒鈧劉t great. The pool and hot tub were great. The staff was friendly. Close to Saguaro National Park which was great.

Very well kept with lots of cacti and flora. Long spaces ( we're 25' + truck and we could've parked another vehicle behind us ). Fire pits provided. Nice hot water in showers. Seemed like everyone who worked there came by and introduced themselves ?all really helpful and nice. The only thing that didn't work for us was the wifi? we ended up using our own hot spots. No big deal.
