All previous reviews applicable except; bathrooms clean, laundry good, internet iffy, small restaurant wonderful, staff friendly and helpful. I found this campground perfect for visiting tombstone 😎

This is a very small home town park. The Owner Sue is a wealth of knowledge on the area. The park is older but the welcome you receive is top notch. They do have an on-site restroom with shower. The bathroom could use a good scrub down. They also have laundry facilities. Only one washer was working. They have a small cafe on site that has good prices and great food! It’s a short couple of blocks to all the action. Dog friendly! If we are back in the area we will for sure stay again.

We have stayed at the Stampede on and off for 3 years. Yes, the place could use a little sprucing up, but we weren't there to comment on the park surroundings. We were there to explore Tombstone. We had a back in site and everything worked great. A lot of people are unschooled on how to connect their rig and want to blame the park for electrical issues that are in actuality problems with their rig's power inverters. The park is in walking distance to all of Tombstone's attractions, and the breakfast they serve at the Stampede is great. Moe and Sue are quite a couple of characters. If you want exact rates, it is $34.94 + tax if you aren't AAA or Good Sam. It is $31.53 + tax if you have those memberships. Weekly rates are $211 + tax, and monthly rates are $330 and you pay electric. Pretty reasonable rates. We would definitely stay there again.

What a dump, this was bad. Have been on the road for 4 years for comparison. Wished I had seen the Jan 2020 remarks before I made reservations. I gave it 1 star just because that's the lowest you can go.

Stopped for one night passing thru. 4 washing machines, only one worked. The electric was fuses no breakers. Tight spacing, would not be good for big rigs. Small, old park...

This is an older park but can’t be beat for location. Did not use laundry or bathroom facilities so can’t speak for those. We had FHUs. Had option of pull through or back in, we chose back-in because it was larger. Staff make this a great stay, very polite and full of great info about Tombstone. They offer a fantastic breakfast every morning and everything is from scratch. Would choose again.

The staff here was outstanding. The spot we had was good and the park only had 4 other travelers so it was not packed like the one down the road. It is an older park with a few people living here full time but they seem nice. Did not use the laundry or bathrooms. The great thing about it is the short walking distance to down town.
Once again the staff makes up for the age of the park. I would stay here again.

Good location only a couple blocks walk to the attractions.
Owners were nice and very accommodating for us and our 39' fifth wheel trailer and full size Freightliner RV hauler.
A good breakfast offered too.
All in all a good experience we will stay here again if back in the area.

They have Good Sam so its $30.15 a night. Internet was average. The showers were warm. You have to pay them a deposit for the shower key. You get it back when you leave. You have to park on outside lots to get cable. Walking distance from all the action so that was cool. AT&T and Verizon worked here. They use back wash resistors on their water spigots so the water is safe here. Kind of noisy in the day and night during the weekends.
