Stayed three nights, enjoyed a nice peaceful quiet time. Definitely no WIFI, but other than that it was a very nice camp site.

We have been at Apache Flats since early February and our stay has been excellent. Nice level sites, great water quality and pressure, weather you crave in the winter. The exchange and commissary are well stocked and Sierra Vista has just about anything you need. Brenda, in the office, is very helpful and friendly. They take reservations and do enforce the 60 day limit during the peak winter season.

I advise not blindly following your GPS as you near the park! I tried and failed to flag down an inbound camper today and didn't get to see how he resolved his dirt road dead end experience. As you get near the park on Smith street you will see SIGNS for Apache Flats RV park! After clearing the traffic circle you will come to a four way red flashing light. Continue straight (don't turn on Whitside even though Google shows AF in the PT field!) and as you pass, on the left, the ball field DO NOT turn at Johnson Road! About 10 yards past Johnson Rd you'll turn Right onto Clarkson Road ( at the fence)...stay on Clarkson, there's a sharp left and the right turn, and you'll find the RV park in front of you. There are signs, but many folks either miss them or are too trusting regarding the GPS.

The previous review was spot on!
This is an excellent camp. Level pads, clean restrooms, quiet, friendly helpful staff, great views, and close to a lot of historical places to visit.

This military RV Park is set in a beautiful location having full views of the Hauchuca mountains. The park is very well maintained and the sites are well spaced apart, each comes with eating area with grill. Walking trails souround the area. Sites are full hook ups and all pull thrus, level concrete pads gravel road. Tress, covered sitting areas, lighted waking paths and wild life all add to the charm. Bath/shower and laundry facility is clean and maintained, complete with large screen tv for viewing while you Waite for your laundry.

The park is so clean and well kept! Don't use the Buffalo Soldier gate on the weekends because it's closed AND use the geo coordinates in google maps to get to the RV park. The sites are very big. We were in 47 with a class B motor home (25 ft) and we pulled through with no issue. Each site is at least xeriscaped and our site had trees. Wifi is improved and we had no issue at all. It was lovely! The bathrooms were clean. Will definitely return if in the area.

The park is neat, well kept, and nicely laid out. All the hookups worked well and cable TV was available. There was even a small gym area right in the campground. The WiFi was hit and miss, depending on the time of day you tried to use it. The Buffalo Soldier Museum was located on the base and there was much history to learn about the fort's past. Propane and diesel were available right on base.
