The ranger station is worth a visit before you stay. There are periodic hunts that they host, and there are quite a few washes along the roads (some are impossible to pass safely with an RV). But if you get good advice and find a good spot there are lots of deer and wildlife along with a great view. You can easily see Kitt observatory 20 miles north and most of the time you can't see any other man-made structures or people. We stayed 12 days and only saw 3 vehicles go by us the entire time.

There is no campground perse at this NWR. But there are some 80+ number dispersed sites scattered over the refuge that you can dry camp at that are real nice.
