The RV park markets itself as a high end resort but nothing could be farther from the truth. It is horribly managed. There seems to be an inconsistent following of the rules. They seem to allow the full timers to do whatever they want. Old furniture laying around. The have a rule that is not posted anywhere that they will not accept packages for short term residents of less than a month. But they don’t tell you. They just send the packages back. We have lots hundreds of dollars and immense hassle with this. Would not recommend.

After making and providing payment in full a month in advance for a full hookup RV spot at Pleasant Harbor RV Resort, I was called by the Assistant Manager, Christian, who informed me their computer had a glitch and because of that, he was cancelling my patiently acquired reservation. Although he said he was very sorry, and was trying to work with me, he could not do anything other than cancel my reservation, or provide me with a partial hook up spot. Since still a month out from my time of arrival, I suggested that Christian simply monitor his many other full hookup spots for a cancelation between that day and my planned future visit still a month away. That is when his caring disposition turned into that person who talks over the top of you instead of listening. I have many times met individuals who's words of concern and support were void of sincerity, but never combined with this level of his disdain and rudeness. It was obvious when Christian used his company's policy as a shield that he could care less, and had no real intention to put forth even a minimum amount of effort to rectify their systems mistake. He got extremely agitated when I asked if he could take a message for his supervisor Jeff to call me back. He flat refused to take a message because that too was against his company's policy. I was directed to call back after January 1st when Jeff was scheduled to return. He ended our conversation with the threat of making sure I never was allowed to stay at the Resort, and then hung up the phone. I was never belligerent, nor did I ever use any foul language. I was at worst agitated, mostly confused, and stepped over the line by presented him with options that a man of his stature apparently does not have to consider or even listen to. It is my opinion that this self proclaimed assistant manager is either under trained, over tasked, in the wrong vocation, or a combination of all three. Terrible, just terrible.

Admin staff is friendly and very helpful. Stayed out in non-serviced area and bought $10 card to access pool etc - good deal. Spent evenings in hot tub listening to lively confident (alcohol-induced) MAGA supporters, anti-vaxers, whites preferred types of arguments that didn’t get weighed down by facts, knowledge or intelligence. No level of obesity seemed out of place. Like-minded will find this place ideal. Others should consider the alternative camping areas around the other side of the lake.

5 STARS for great customer service. Office management, security, & grounds staff are superb! Stayed several weeks over the winter season & loved it! Shout out to security - Robert & John - as well as office staff - for a very well managed resort! Pool, laundry, boat launches, water, dump, playground... so many amenities. Full & partial hookups & the new 3-tiered dry camping: $20, $25 & $30 with different views of lake / reservoir.

Jeff, mgr & staff Christian, Helen, Stacey & SECURITY staff are amazing during these challenging times of covid & political unrest. I feel safe here as security has proven response! Dry camping at $20 p/n makes it affordable with view of mountains surrounding lake / reservoir. Water / dump included. Laundry 24/7. Thank you to team for being a safe harbor!

I don’t care what the reasons are but to pay six dollars just to go in and look at their facilities is BS!

We came here on our first trip in our new motorhome. We stayed a month and absolutely loved it! The staff is nice and they have loads of amenities. They even come around every Saturday and fill your propane tanks if you let them know you need it. Great place. Beautiful scenery and great ATV and hiking Trails! The sunsets over Lake Pleasant are so beautiful! You should put this one on your bucket list! Give em a call and ask for Jeff. He is awesome!

Nice facilities, very good price (maybe off-season?) Friendly people. Could use more shade but that's true for most of Arizona.

NO TENT FRIENDLY CAMPING. Website claims to have tent sites available but you will need to bring extra tarps so that your tent does not get shredded by gravel
