Sites are level gravel. Enough room for the 45’ 5th wheel. Tried to get propane right after I checked in at 2:30 and the office was closed. Did not get propane from them. The sites are ok but not the service.

Our second time here but we’ll be back. They are busy adding wide sites with patios and fire pits. They have added several cabins and tiny homes for rent. Very close to the back entrance of the Petrified Forest. Easy access from I40. You will get a bit of road noise but the CG is worth it. Cute store. Nice playground for kids. Our site was a wide and long pull through. Level, drained well during a rain. The park is well managed and maintained. We stop here to avoid Flgstaff snow on our way to Phoenix.

This was our first KOA experience and we were pleasantly surprised. Our campsite was tidy, the staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. We were able to take our dog for a walk then let him go off-leash in the grassy dog area. This KOA offered a pancake breakfast and an evening dinner BBQ. Holbrook KOA suited our needs and we will stay here again on our return trip.

We had reservations at another campground but when we arrived found it to be awful. We headed for the KOA about 35 miles north of this place hoping they could accommodate us and they did. It was a lovely place close to sites we wanted to see and even found new ones in the town itself. Had a great time; would go again.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins for 2 nights. It was very comfortable and clean. It was convenient to go to the cowboy cookout for dinner the first night because there are not many restaurants nearby. The town of Holbrook seems very run down but there was a nice Safeway for groceries. The KOA was close to Petrified Forest NP, so it was a very nice place to stay if you want to go there.

Camped there twice for one night to and from Grand Canyon, seven days apart. To my dismay the dog run poop can was overflowing and the same old moldy pizza box was sitting on the ground adjacent to the poop can. I informed the office staffer right after my discovery on my second visit and she admitted that property maintenance was lacking. The next morning I informed the manager and he sarcastically replied that he empties the can daily. I informed him that he was not telling the truth. In addition, I took a shower in the rear shower building and the shower drain was stopped up and water dishes the entire bathroom area. The office staffer was correct, maintenance and management is lacking.

Fairly nice RV park with easy access on and off I-40. Obviously, this place serves as an overnight stop for east/west interstate travelers as most arrived in the afternoon and were packing to leave at first light. Smooth and fast check-in. Park is basically a gravel parking lot, minimum space between sites but can accommodate the largest of rigs. Bathhouse was older but very clean and tidy. Laundry was more expensive than most we encounter. Does have a fenced dog run, but if your dog likes longer walks, your stuck to the gravel perimeter. CG Wifi was very slow, rendering it basically useless, so we used our personal hotspot which had 3 bars of solid 4G reception. They do have a nice cowboy BBQ each evening for burgers and the like. Offers military discount, which was very nice (thanks). Served our purpose for a quick stop in transit to our next destination

If you like 24/7 interstate hwy traffic noise and almost hourly train whistles less than a mile away then this is the place to stay. Management warm and friendly with tasty chuck-wagon-like breakfasts and dinners. Site very tight and all gravel.
