This campground is located in the Grand Canyon National Park, and is the full hookup campground for the Park. The sites are fairly tight, and with the low tree branches and undergrowth beside the roads, it can be challenging for a big rig. When we were there, there was a lot of foreign visitors, in their rental RV's, mostly French. They have no clue about camping etiquette, and will walk through your site rather than walk on the roadways. We had numerous people cutting through our site in the week that we were there. They have a bath house available, but it is located in the Mather Campground, which is about a half mile down the road. You can catch the shuttle bus from the campground, and link up with the other buses that go up and down the rim to the observation sites. They need to tell the foreign guests about camping etiquette, trim the trees and mark the one way roadways in the campground. Numerous people were driving the wrong way in the campground while we were there.

Great NP campground! We stayed on E Street row and had a nice level concrete pad with a big shade tree. Spots not too crowded together. Bathrooms close by -ok to use when needed. No showers nearby. Full hookup. Good central location to drive or quickly hop on shuttle that has pickup near registration office. Enjoyed the Elk wandering around and the stars were some of the best we’ve seen in the West. Will return!!

The best NP campground. Full hook ups. Did not use bathrooms or showers. Had to drive about 1/2 mile to laundry. Lots of Elk in campground, walk or bike to S Rim.

Great location. Nice sites. Stayed in Row P. The camp services had hot showers ($2) and laundry. Staff friendly and helpful.
My complaint is not with the camp - but campers or resident workers who do not feel their dogs need to be on leash. One small trailer has a puppy yapping and running around outside for a long time with no one watching it.
Please be respectful of others.
The wooded area was peaceful (except for the couple who let their dogs run off leash in the woods...) 🙄

I am having a hard time describing how disappointed I was with this park. I mean, come on, it is the Grand Canyon! The consessionier hired to run this park should be imprisoned. 50 Amp FHU, and that is the only thing good to say. The sites all have broken Cable TV junction boxes and loose cables strewn about. On the east side of the camp, all the bathrooms are closed / out of order. And the Porta-potties brought in to replace them, you guessed it, out of order. Could not find a level site. Had to back out the entire length of the row we were parked in as all of the trees are overgrown and block the roads for anything taller than 10 feet. At least half of the east side of the camp is occupied by employees' campers and dorm buildings. CNN has shown neater refugee camps. We have been in 3 other consessionier run National Parks this trip. Loved them all. This one is a disgrace. Would never stay here again until changes are made.

Clean park some sites have trees. Seems the elk like it as they came through frequently. There is no AT&T service so no wifi for us- we sat in the nearby ranger station to do work as needed. There were no shower facilities - or maybe have in tent area down street I don't know as we don't use them. You can't get a better locale to stay close by the GC.

Wonderful campground mostly due to its central location inside the park. My blog on my stay https://bauernfeind.wordpress.com/2017/0

Clean, nice RV park. Less than a one minute walk to the Blue Line bus stop. Elk came right up to our trailer during the night, we watched them through the window! Perfect way to see the Grand Canyon- quieter and less busy than the hotel areas.

The precious review about private owner is wrong. This is a national park, and a very nice one at that. We are avid RV'rs and found this place very nice and clean...not to mentioned THE best place if you want to see the Gran Canyon. Make reservations as it gets crowded.

Privately run. Very run down. It was difficult to stay there. Sad how it has deteriorated. Shame on the Parks Service.
