Reservation Only at recreation dot gov, no other way to pay. But great Verizon on-site. We picked a site, checked availability online, and paid. Campsites $8/night, $4 with Senior/Access pass. There will be an $8 reservation fee added to your total. Dark and quiet at night. Sites spread out. Vault toilets, no water.

Stayed here one night on Mar 13. Pretty area. The petroglyphs were sort of ho-hum. Clean, quiet campground.

Campsites come with a picnic table and fire ring. 2 vault toilets on site that were clean. Very quiet and safe place to stay especially for a single woman traveling alone. A camp host is on site as well. Only eight dollars a night. Can get a bit windy!

Ditto what every one else had said, spent 4 nights here, quiet, maybe 10 sites total occupied. BLM camping is free due to the corona virus. No campground host, doesn芒鈧劉t look like the toilets have been serviced, no TP. Still, would return.

60 dispersed campground sites. Was about 1/2 full in the weekend. Maybe a 1/3 full during the week. Large, flat sites. Dry camping. Stayed three nights with 40芒鈧劉 motorhome and toad. Enjoyed the petroglyphs and peace and quiet. Solid Verizon signal. Would stay again.

For $4 a night w/senior pass, this is a great place, feeling more secure than on dispersed BLM land. Sites are spacious and quiet. Unfortunately they芒鈧劉ve discontinued the camp host position (Why???), but this is one of the best dry camping spots we芒鈧劉ve visited. Good Verizon signal, too.

Stayed overnight at the Painted Rock Petroglyph Site and Campground, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Arizona. This big rig friendly campground has picnic tables, a fire ring, trash receptacles, and two vault toilets. There are no hookups, no water, and no dump station 芒鈧漝ry camping only. Adjacent to the campground are ancient rock carvings/petroglyphs. This BLM campground is located just 11 miles off of I-8, Exit 102 and made for an excellent overnight stay. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 24.2 Mbps download speed and 19.9 Mbps upload speed. AT&T cell service was barely usable at 1 bar LTE. The fee is reasonable at $4 per night with the interagency access pass/senior or golden age pass. The regular fee is $8 per night. My related YouTube video is here: https://youtu.be/fr0vhHYYDFg

Excellent desert campground. It is somewhat remote but has easy access. Very peaceful an quiet. Many spots to choose from. I give it four stars only because the restroom was locked.
