Arrived here mid day in June 2022. Plenty of sites available but most not anywhere near level. Young aspens and a few taller pines offered little shade. Turned around and went back to Jacob Lake NFS campground for the night which is much nicer.

Stayed here for four nights would have loved to stay a month! Gorgeous location and the campground was the cleanest we have ever stayed in! We have a 33 ft 5th wheel and our site was number 22 a pull through and was plenty big and we had a great view of the deer coming down to sample the aspen branches. The campground host met us at our site and brought us firewood so we wouldn’t have to carry it. They have potable water and the cleanest vault toilets I’ve ever seen. There are meadows adjacent to the campground and we walked down to them at 10 pm to get a good look at the amazing night sky, we were lucky enough to see the Milky Way and three meteors ! We visited the campground in the park and thought it was nice but Demotte would be where we would stay again. Loved this place!
