Beware of no refund policy, which is true even though the electric was bad and we had to use our generator. Free laundry, free Wi-Fi that works, a free pen/light/stylus and a riverfront view with full hooks. Easy in and out, as well, but no way was it worth $60 with their bad electric. They had three guys working on the electric the day we left, but their no-name work van and constant phone use did not inspire confidence.

We liked Tom Sawyer rv park. Our site 97 was level and offered us the opportunity to watch boat traffic on the Mississippi River. Staff was friendly and park well maintained. I think there were some long term campers but we’re in a separate area. Good Wi-Fi

I’m in a 24’ Class C & not towing. Thus I was able to be in site #76 which is RIGHT on the Mississippi River. The barges & tugs were 20 steps away. It was a magical stay - a tree for shade, a picnic table to myself, peace & quiet after time on the busy & fast interstate. The bathrooms in this part of the park are elevated (5 steps) & have a sink, stool & shower. Waking up at 2am to a tug heading south & lite up like a Christmas ornament was icing on the cake for this overnight. I’ll be back!

Fantastic communication with reservations, etc. We stayed overnight two different weeks. Both times we were in sections near the river. Everything was great including the upclose views of the river. One downside is zero shade, although other sections appear to have some shade. Another downside is dust from the crushed limestone roads. However, I rate this very high as an overnight or brief stay and will definitely stay here again.

Echoing positive reviews from previous campers - a really nice place to stay! We paid a bit extra for a spot on the river bank and it was well worth it to watch the river traffic as the sun went down. Took advantage of free laundry; laundry room was clean and well-maintained. Can definitely recommend this place!!

Stayed here a week while traveling on our 8 month journey in our 35’ Class A with tow. Nice level concrete pad - spot 103, right up by the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. Watching the tugs pushing massive barges up and down the river is something you don’t see every day. Free laundry and the office calling to let me know that a package arrived that we ordered was pretty nice. Would definitely stay here again if we come by this way again.

The river was beautiful!! Great location, tucked away and so quiet. Very safe. Going through West Memphis you wonder if it’s in a bad neighborhood- but the campsite is very secluded and separate. We enjoyed the stay. There’s not much to do except walk and enjoy nature- but it’s a beautiful spot! I only gave 4 stars because the shower rooms were not well maintained. However, the completely free laundry was a nice touch! It wasn’t super busy as I would have expected either. Overall a great stay, and we would come again.

Great pitstop on way back from gulf shores. Park was well organized and followed up promptly to our reservation inquiry. We booked a river site to have a better view of the river and barge boats we read about in other reviews!
If I was on vacation, the extra expense was worth it but not necessary for a full timer.
I would have opted for the cheaper site but definitely saw the value in paying a bit more for the front row seat (site 74). You can walk up to the rivers edge and use their benches or being your chairs. Great grassy area along the river for kids to play, just keep in mind the river edge is a drop off to the river. No fencing to protect kids.
Everything worked as it should, but someone had run over the sewer cap. Not a big deal, but couldn't seal my connections.
My only recommendation is to come in from the east on the highway. You can come in from the north (from the casino area) but the roads in town are horrible..(seriously, drive the extra couple minutes to go around the town.) We came in from Memphis and it was an outer road, but very smooth, and no low electric lines or sketchy trees!
Overall. We will definitely be back for another pitstop on the way to Florida!
I would give it 4 stars only because 5 stars means your park is unlike anything I've ever been to.
However, I will give it 5 star's.
I did not use the free laundry facilities, but that's a nice touch and very uncommon to us travelers. Kudos to the park for charging a bit more for the experience, but offering this much needed amenity without trying to suck out a few more dollars and cents!
We stayed one night - 8/5/21.
Safe travels!

This is a great park. Peaceful and really pretty next to the river. The laundry facilities are wonderful. I will definitely go back.
