Extremely friendly service, like southern hospitality friendly. Well kept site, private area to access lake, extremely clean facilities. Wife, child, and dogs happy. Just here for the night as we head further south. Oh, super chilly a/c in bathhouse.

Yes it’s old. Yes it’s gravel. But, nice people and clean park. Perfect for an overnight or even a few days. Across the rad from a small park on a big lake. If you’re lucky they will have local pecans in the office.

Pecan grove is a misnomer. There are no trees and it is less than 100 feet from a busy 4 lane highway. I was praying there wasn’t a wreck on the highway or they would have wiped us out, as we were in the site closest to the road. The park was poorly kept with lots of pot holes and barely gravel road and sites. There was no internet, no TV, no picnic table or even enough room between sites for a lawn chair. Unfortunately while we were here the park was full of sketchy carnival workers, so that didn’t really help their case either. I would never come back here again but would instead chose a Walmart parking lot

This review is kinda late but may help. Not sure if it’s any better now in October of 2021. We stayed there for one night in June of 2020. It was memorable and not in a good way. I called them prior to the one night stay to reserve a spot. We got there in the late afternoon, went to the office to check in, took longer than it should have, we were assigned a space and drove to the space. We were in a truck camper and went to eat at a local restaurant. I suppose it would have been a good idea to put something at the spot to indicate it was already rented out. When we got back to our site it was occupied by someone else. By this time the office was closed but they had a good after-hours reach number. We were advised to find an empty spot, which we did. No harm, no foul.
There was wifi but only available within a short range of the office, otherwise nonexistent at the site. I would have used the connection on my Verizon cell phone but there was no signal at all (voice or data) within the park that I could find.
It looks like this place probably gets quite muddy after a rain storm but fortunately it hadn’t rained there recently. I took a shower in the bathhouse. Very shabby, worn out but serviceable enough to take a shower.
Maybe they’ve fixed the place up some since then.

$37 for an overnight stay. Gave us the most unkempt spot. Gravel not leveled and grass overgrown. Weeds were a foot high. Full hookups but not much else. No courtesy.

Cable not working. Internet sucks.

They advertise cable but is not working. We had a pull through site. Water and electric hookups were easy. Appears to be a lot of full timers here. Site was fairly level with a mix of gravel, mud and grass. Did not check out the bathroom facilities. Could use some sprucing up, but ok for a one nighter.

We stopped for a one night stay on our way north. Very nice and helpful staff. Sites are all pull thru and mostly grass and gravel. Roads and sites can be quite muddy after a rain. FHU and good water pressure. Easy access on and off Hwy 65. Fuel station next door with dedicated truck lanes for convenience in and out. Not much shopping or restaurants close by but Walmart is about 14 miles away in Greenville, MS.

Arrived very late and perhaps this place is better in the daytime but I got 3 words to describe our stay on this hot August night, "mo-squi-tos"! 1000s of them. Tried to rush everyone into the rv and still got dozens if not 100 of them inside the rv. Spent an hour trying to kill them all. Not what we wanted to do before bed. What's better, tomorrow I have to look forward to killing the other 50 that flew into the truck as the family couldn't figure out what I was screaming.
I gave up on leveling the trailer, just connected the electric and ran inside.
Hopefully it's just the time of day/year and pecan trees don't attract mosquitoes. If I got to fight these bugs in the morning, forget this place!
Place is overall ok but swarming with mosquitos. Yes it is August and that probably can't be controlled easy, but that is what caused the downgrade.
Easy pull through level gravel pads with full hookups. Looks like plenty of stuff for kids to explore if you drown them in bug spray first.
Don't come late at night! That's when we got aniolated by the mosquitos & nats. Morning wasn't as bad bust still bad.
Cost was $32.17 for 50amp night with Good Sam
