Clean. Sites not level. Small sites. No way I could put my awning out.The front doors of pet owners were facing each other! No privacy and no protection from other dogs camping next to you. New pet patios were tiny and too close to dogs without a fence. I cannot recommend this place for pet owners, or campers who don’t want to share their site with their neighbors. Office staff indifferent to campers. Not welcoming.

Nice KOA. Long level site for our 45’ RV. Nice trees, but not an issue getting to our site. Very convenient for the National Park and down to Lake Hamilton too.

This park needs updating. Bathrooms are still out of order from construction and no progress is being made. Wi-Fi is lacking strength. Booster would help. Lots Of trees which is good for shade but bad if you don’t like Barry’s dropping on your roof, etc. Not too far from the town so it’s relatively convenient if you’re going into Hot Springs.

Hot Springs KOA campground is a fairly nice park but it is set up to be a layover park. The campground is fairly large but they have used every square foot of their property as a place to park a RV, cabin or set up a tent. The spaces are really tight and occupants have no privacy from next door or above. The terrain is very diverse and where we camped, we backed up into a hillside. RVer’s that were backed in at the top of the hill were able to look directly down into our site and able to listen to our conversation (if they were so inclined). From our site we had the ability to look down the hill into fellow campsites. The dog park was clean and tidy. We were pleased to see that previous users had cleaned up after their dogs. The grounds seems to be taken care of and the area road noise is minimal. Lastly, the roads are asphalt and very narrow with some of their trees were overgrown. We travel in a big, heavy rig so maneuvering around the grounds was a pain. Had a devil of a time avoiding scraping the side of coach, dodging the campers and their infrastructure. The staff was nice and very helpful in making sure we backed into the correct spot. If you pull a trailer and are not very comfortable back it in, definitely get a pull through. With the really close quarters, backing into these sites are not set up for a novice.

This park is awesome!!!! The staff were amazing, specifically Dave and the shuttle driver. Yes there is a shuttle to the national park. Dave helped me park and back in like a champ. I’m not good at it. Everyone was super customer oriented it was great. Spaces are tiered so although it’s pretty tight you don’t really notice. Feels like your in a forest with maybe three other campers. There’s a pool and a place that makes breakfast (for a fee). I loved it wish I had more time to explore. Also not typical KOA rates!!!

Stayed two nights with a Class B in April 2021. Generally quiet, pleasant staff. Easy for us to get around with our 21 ft vehicle. Good cell service (Verizon). Campsites are at several levels, cut into a hillside with wooden retaining walls. Our site was flat, and didn’t require any leveling. Close to the national park.

I agree with all the previous reviews. The staff was very nice and helpful. Very hilly with tight turns. The site was very small. Had to move our Class C motorhome to the empty neighboring site to hookup our tow vehicle because there was a Class A motorhome next to us and we would have hit their vehicle trying to leave. It was very close to the National Park.

Typical KOA. Pricey for small tight sites, but shaded and clean. Highway noise. Nice office staff and great ‘valet’ parker.
