These people are so nice it’s unbelievable Fred even wanted to help me hook up I said no that’s OK but he did anyways our dog escaped from our camper and he helped us find her told his friends and we got her back in about four hours I love this place and will definitely go back he also brought us strawberry shortcake that night and we were only there one night

Southern hospitality is alive and well at the Barnes RV Park. The owner met me personally, not at the office, as soon as I pulled in. He showed me where my space was and then walked over and offered to help me hook up. I am only traveling through and staying one night, so not sure about anything as far as the rest of the facilities. I can say the park is lovely, the hookups are exactly what I need. It’s quiet and safe.

Lots of local workers live here now. Train is noisy too. It whistles, not just rumbles.
