This place reminded me of a Stephan King novel, beautiful scenery, but no people in tons of empty trailers. We got to the park at 4:15 p.m. And the office and the campstore were already closed (but the camp manager had called to tell us she was leaving).
The site was on the water and the lake looked beautiful, but the site was littered with cigarette butts and the amenities were antiquated. I guess it's more of a place the locals just leave their campers for the week and come on weekends, but I would not recommend it for people traveling through.
