Location location location. Closest campground to the battleship Alabama.A worthwhile stop. You can roam the ship at will, never dreamed there were so many guns. The campground has about 10 transient spots, the remainder are permanent. There are no picnic tables, look at the direction of parking on their map when reserving. Apparently there is no staff. We arrived at 3PM on a Friday and our reservation with map was taped to the office door. Okay for an overnight or two nights while seeing the sights…no need to stay any longer.

Bathroom facilities very much lacking. Our neighbors front door on the one side was only about 10 feet from us with no trees or shrubs between. Would not stay here again.

Good little Campground. Super nice people running it. No real special amenities did not try the bathhouse or laundry. Close to lots of stuff to check out. Also if you like seafood go to Mudbugs to bring home and cook. There are several good restaurants in the area to try out.

We were very pleased with this shady park. Quiet, clean and close to everything. We will stay again when in this area.

Quiet and convenient location. We were passing through the area and booked our spot at around 9pm online which was very easy. Nice facilities and laundry area. Nice guests and staff.

Very nice. Convenient off I 10. Close to things to see. Quiet neighborhood. Sites are nicely spaced with good hookups.
Friendly management.

Very accomadating rv park. There a full timers, but do not overextend into other sites. Sites are very large with gravel and grass. The owner Charlie is special with the way he treats his guests. We stayed in a 38' 5th wheel for a week and no problems. Neighborhood is ok, but traveling to downtown and all around the gulf is very easy.

Nice quiet park, well taken care of. Charlie really takes good care of you. All facilities in good working order and clean. Would for sure stay there again.

Nice place to stay or for overnight. It was easy to get to from I10 with a slightly difficult turn for longer rigs into the street the campground is on. We arrived a little late but the staff was very courteous and showed me a choice of pull throughs that he had left. The trees are very large and trimmed up to easily clear any legal height RV. It is a well shaded park.
The only weak spot we found was the wifi connection was nearly too slow to use. I had to hotspot via my phone to download all websites. With patience the wifi could handle basic email.

Very nice campground. We did not use either bathhouse but there was a new shower being put one of them. Laundry was reasonable. Very quick run into Mobile and down to Dauphin Island. We will be back!
