The link on this site (Editor note: The review search that accesses several other websites at once) has some negative reviews but they are posted on the wrong site. About 2 miles away is a former KOA that is behind a new Love's truck stop. THAT IS NOT TANNEHILL HISTORICAL STATE PARK!!

This park is old and full of history, walking trails, peace and quiet. I am here right now, on wifi, making my post. In a pullthru site with lots of shade. Hot and humid today in late June but the shade of the trees and my awning keeps it pleasant. This place is only a few miles from my home which makes it a fantastic weekend getaway. And when here we feel likes we're miles and miles away from the stresses and pressures just a short distance away.

Right down the road a piece is great shopping at Tannehill Colonial Promenade. The third weekend of each month March-October is a huge flea market they call Trade Days. I love this place and it irritates me to no end that people are posting rankings for that horrid place about 4 miles up the road. That one is North of Interstate 59/20. The one you need to come to is South of the interstate.
