Thunder Canyon Campground is the nicest campground we have stayed in. It has wonderful and easily available Trails in the canyon and along a creek. The sites are spacious with trustworthy and almost new electric and water outlets. John and Mercedes ,the owners, have chosen to make this a member only campground to preserve a family atmosphere but the membership fee is relatively small. with the membership fee you get many benefits including reduced rates on camping. they are not ashamed of their faith in Jesus but don't push it. They care about people and the camping community. I highly recommend this campground. They call it camp gratitude.

Campground as good as expected, enjoyed the site(7) environment, and fellowship. Peaceful, good view, and worth the trip.

Thunder Canyon is a one of a kind Camp ground. With their Judeo Christian values, their desire to help those who have then same values and their commitment to God and his calling makes Thunder Canyon amazing. God has blessed the members with 243 acres of his beauty. Members are family. It's a special community of like minded people listening to God and his desires for his children. It's an amazing, heaven filled beautiful gift from God. You have to experience it in person to understand what it brings to your 芒聺陇茂赂聫.

We stayed on site #2, it was level & had a wonderful view of the woods. We had a great time on the July 4th opening. We will be back!!
