Great park off beaten path - only thing is no cell service ATT. So plan ahead if you need to download books to kindle or such - we will be back - sites are mostly level

This is a clean quiet campground but not close to much. Our cell phones had no service after realizing we need to go to the city of Heflin for best route.

Coleman Lake is a beautifully amazing, family oriented campsite. We visit numerous times a year and have never experienced a problem. The campsites are isolated from one another, have cement pads, water and electricity. The camp hosts are always on site and ride through the park throughout the day checking to insure all is well. If you love peace and solitude, you will fall in love with Coleman Lake. Warning, it is 11 miles to the closest grocery store and our cell phones do not have reception back in the woods. Check out the picnic areas and the lake. It's heavenly!

We had a short stay here but we were very impressed with the campgrounds. We loved that the camp host and rangers were always around. They were friendly and approachable. The RV lots were wooded and private, everything was clean and well taken care of. Easy walk to a clean lake. A hidden gem. We will return, soon. OH - they asked if we needed firewood and delivered it to our site for us.
