Cannot emphasis how beautiful this location is. There is a boat launch and a large beach. Most RV spaces have expansive views of the lake. The park lodge is beautiful and has a restaurant.
The Verizon signal was good. The showers are luxurious and there are several laundry facilities.

This is a great place. The mountain bike trails will not disappoint. Fishing all around. Rented a boat two days we were there and the gentleman at the boat rentals was very friendly and helpful. Every staff person we met was kind. Bathhouse was clean and seemed new. There are many activities for the whole family. We will be going back.

Great campground. We love the state park. There is something for everyone. Good biking and hiking trails. Golf course. Zip line (haven't done this). Fishing. The lodge is a nice place to eat if you don't want to cook. Camp store fairly well stocked. Most sites have a good bit of room. The only negative is that some sites are pretty hard to level up on so bring enough blocking. The playground needs an overhaul, which it looks like they are planning. This is our go to campground close to home.

Did an overnight here in early spring. Beautiful view of Lake Guntersville. Quiet and peaceful on this weeknight. Pull thru sites are up the hill a bit but under some trees. Other sites are closer to lake but more open. Sites have moderate space - not a problem for us because there were few here and no one around us.
