This is a older campground and sites are closer than we like. Trees do keep sun from beating you up. Will not be back.

Rural setting on Alabama River. Paved sites in woods. Walked down to river. Friendly staff who gave use evening access to do laundry. About 15 minutes from Camden. Nice change from commercial rv places. Camp store has basics. Also kayak and Jon boat rentals.

Great little park because I Love area & like to fish.
However the parks electrical system is in much need of updating & repair.
It's not a matter of which camp site you like it's finding one that works. Even to the point that you cannot unhook till you try the power outlet.
Less than what I have come to know & expect from our state parks. But still love area.
