My new favorite campground. Level, spacious, well cared for campsites. The park is very well cared for overall, big trees lots of green space. Quiet, mostly fisherman and retirees, helpful and pleasant camp hosts. I like that the gate is closed at 10 o’clock at night and opened again at seven in the morning. I can’t speak to the restroom and shower facilities because I didn’t use them the dump is clean.

Beautiful large wooded sites. We had back in water Site for 2. Many sites had large wooden decks viewing the water, but we weren’t aware of. We are able not se up Star Link site 23, , otherwise we would not had cell service. Four stars due to dump station will back up on you. We will stay again in this quiet serene campground if we are in the area. Great price, $13.00 a night with our America the Beautiful Senior pass. Camden Alabama 13 miles to the bro dry store Piggly Wiggly.

Stayed here two nights Tue-Wed March 14-15, 2023, no reservations. Plenty availability. Nice, clean campground on the Alabama River; good kayaking, fishing opportunities. Another great ACOE facility!

Beautiful spot, very empty for a weekend (tho it was after a big rainstorm), many RV sites right on the water. Clean, quiet. No bathroom by the RV sites but a bathroom available by the camping sites. laundry available as well.

Great park! Saw lots of wild life. Saw a small alligator, an armadillo, lots of geese on the lake, and birds and squirrels everywhere. Camp sites are very clean and the camp hosts are wonderful. Trying out a new camper and this Army Corp of engineers park is lots of fun. We will return.
