We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to hiking trails in Denali State Park. We're self-contained in our 25 foot RV and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in mid-July. This is a large parking lot/view point with 10 or so parking spots designated as campsites with picnic tables and trash bins. Most sites will need some leveling. There's a pit toilet. The view is beautiful! We had good ATT cell service and no Verizon service. The fees are $15 for camping. There were 3 other RVs overnighting with us. The sites are close to the highway with some road noise, which is reduced at night. This CG is 6 miles from Ermine Hill TH and 1 mile from Little Coal Creek TH, both access points to the Kesugi Ridge Trail. There's an interpretive trail at the south end of the parking lot.
