This campground is newly updated. The electric and water is all new. There are new cabins that will be available to rent sometime soon. $35.00 per site. Laundry is $3.50 for wash and $2.00 for dry. We felt very comfortable there. Shopping at the commissary was still better than the economy. We used the fitness center and enjoyed the area. This campground just reopened this week. The staff were helpful.

July 2023. Read other reviews and my opinion is different I am a traveling Veteran There r 5 shower rooms (3/4 type). Well kept and laundry is 3.25 wash and 2.00 for drying I’m in dry camp (3 site) and tent area is an open field for same price. I think it’s a nice place and would come back if I ever in Alaska again

Stayed Aug 2021. $20/night for water-only site #1 Moose Loop. Laundry prices are: $3.25/wash, $2.00 dry. Campground needs some TLC. Feels a bit abandoned. Only a few sites have working electric. The disc golf course across the street is much better mowed than the campground. Would opt for State Rec Area in the future for minimal campsite amenities.

This is my third visit. The park is not worth staying at. Latrines, showers are a shambles. They should just shut it down. The camp host tried but it is evident that the powers that be don't care. I will never go back.

The base commander should be ashamed of allowing this RV park to be its present condition. The camp hosts were wonderful and tried to make our stay as plesant as possible. But it is evident the base has spent no money to bring the park back to its former glory. There are 19 sites, some with only water, some with electric only, and some with electric and water. There is a sewer line there but all connection have been removed. This could be a superior park with a little money spent on it.
