Rough stone (not gravel) parking lot, a few little trees trying to grow. Alaska spacing. Haphazard surface water lines that YOU MUST NOT PARK ON. Restricted (and guarded) dump hours. Restricted laundry hours. Poor WiFi. Local fuel prices OUTRAGEOUS. Workcampers manning the office are friendly. Stopover here if you must have W and E before going into Denali.

Wanted to give this place a decent review however it is difficult. Gravel lot. Big parking lot. So close to your neighbor you can reach out and they are right there. They have so many rules…good luck!! Can’t dump until 9-11:30 & 1:30 to 4pm. Use their hose. Fine whatever. Workkampers are pleasant. Showers clean. Even if you have paid and you want to dump before alloted times 25.00 fee. Wifi non existent. Still had a good signal on cellular. Laundry washers use special coins dryers use quarters. With all of the rules you would think they would check your site for cleanliness. There was a rock that had dog poop in front of our rig as we stepped in and didn’t notice because it was raining. Yep, had to clean floors and rug as soon as we arrived. Not pleasant stay at all.

I’m laughing at some of the reviews. This campground makes no pretense to be a resort. Yes, it’s a glorified gravel lot with very level sites, However, you are conveniently located right at the end of the Denali highway and within an easy hop to the national park, the owners are fantastic - friendly, helpful and very nice people who went out of their way to make sure we found the local fishing holes. And the bathrooms and laundry facilities are among the cleanest I’ve seen in 15 years of rv’ing. Yes, I’d recommend it for what is is meant to be and highly recommend it as a safe, pleasant rest stop up or down the road to Denali or Fairbanks.

It seems like most campgrounds that we've seen in Alaska are gravel parking lots. Maybe that's because their season is short and they have to realize as much revenue from their facility as they can during the abbreviated length of time. This one is not much better or worse than most of the others... But, the folks are really nice and helpful, and they can provide a pet sitting service, which enabled us to spend a day at the park without worrying about our furry critters. That in itself is worth four stars to me.

Yes there are gravel lots in Alaska but you are better staying in a road side stop for free

The campground is a glorified gravel parking lot. The caretakers/owners? are courteous and professional. The showers are cleaned after every use. A good place to stop for the night but not at all memorable.

Very clean showers and they have a pet sitting service if you want to spend a day in Denali NP.
