The rest area is closed… no clue why

2 stars for the awesome view of Mount Shasta. Took away 3 stars because it’s super busy here at night. It says no overnight parking here but stayed here anyway. No one bothered us but car alarms blared when someone couldnt fix their car at 4am in the morning.

Busy with trucks but lots of overflow parking away from most traffic. There are spots designated for RVs. Posted no overnight parking, but there were many overnighters.
