This place is an absolute mess. Total chaos. There are easily twice as many cars as there are parking spots, and the lot is the size of a shoebox. One of the busiest rest stops I鈥檝e ever seen鈥攁nd also one of the smallest.
There are missing doors on the men鈥檚 bathroom stalls, which tells you everything you need to know about upkeep. There are no functioning electrical outlets anywhere, not a single one.
Yes, it鈥檚 technically under 24-hour surveillance, and there are CHP units nearby, but with how overcrowded and poorly designed this place is, none of that really matters.
This is hands down the most neglected, underfunded, overused rest stop I鈥檝e ever seen鈥攁nd I鈥檝e been to hundreds across the country. Avoid if you can. If not, lower your expectations.
