We just got here but they are very open about cars or rvs staying on the property. They do have a designated RV gravel lot that is just west of the Shell Station and right next to the Tesla Charging Center. We parked underneath the solar panels and they even have picnic tables. The restroom is a short walk and are available day or night and are exceptional. This is a great stop and I even hear that they have pretty good bbq.

Closed - 4/3/20/2023. Two rest areas in a row, what is CA thinking!

Good place for overnight. Got there at 6:30 pm and found a spot. Great covered picnic & sitting court. But next to the 5 so white noise all night. Well laid out rest stop.

This is a very nice rest area, especially if you are traveling with children and/or a pet. There are several green grassy areas shaded by large trees. The pet area is large and was clean when we stopped here, partly due to a prolific number of very visible doggie waste bag dispensers. The grounds and bathrooms are well maintained and clean. Notably absent are any vehicles or persons appearing to stay here long-term (more than the allowed 8 hrs). This is a good choice for a travel stop.

Nice rest stop! No resting for us, stopped to let the kids have some exercise, nice area on side of facilities with grass and Trees. Kids had fun running around.
