This campground is in desparate need of an overhall!! There was an old mattress, pallet and tv stand on the lawn near the dumpster, many full-time trailers some of which are in various states of disrepair. One of the sites had 2 horse trailers, 3 vehicles, and old fridge and was generally an eyesore. The 1 nice thing was there was a gate for you to enter into a nice park to walk our dogs. Tghis should be marketed as a full-time trailer park NOT as a campground!! We will NEVER stay here again.

Great for a stop along the road. There were very few sites left by tho time we arrived. We got a pull through site. We paid at the museum but you can also self register. The museum is interesting. Internet is only available at the museum.

We stayed in this campground on August 1 2016. We needed somewhere to pull into late at night. It is a self registration campground. Very basic. Some pull through sites. Portable outhouses for bathrooms. Water, electric and sewer at most sites.
$30.00 in August 2026.
The online directions show the museum as the address, but the campground is located behind the museum. To access it take the side street along left side of museum and follow signs. Turn right just before ramp to #1 highway. Cash or cq for payment only or pay in the museum in the morning. Staff very pleasant.
