Poorly designed campground with some sites so close together you could throw a piece of crunched up paper into your neighbor's fire pit. Most sites are small and not level. Not what you'd expect from a national park CG. Had reservations for two nights but stayed only one.

A quiet park. No services, but water and two dump stations as you enter. No water view, and sites can be tough to get into. If you can call, I would. Or say you have a larger rig than reality, so you can be assured a spot you can back into. Lovely trees, nature all around. Bear cautions, as with all Canadian Rockies parks. There is shuttle service into Banff proper. You could also ride bikes in. Too far to reasonably walk.
