Awesome beauty. Lovely campsites. Nice, clean bathrooms. Wonderful peaceful, clean and accessible sites. Pull off sites with tables in Rv section. Beauty in all directions. Pictures really can’t do the park justice. Many hiking trails with easy travel to Banff.

Just don’t go to Banff!!! Everything is crowded and insane!! All parks full, and this is after the summer season. Nuts!

We don’t mind parking lots as we only use the RV for travel, like a hotel on wheels. What we did not like was the fact that the RVs are parallel parked. There was not enough room for our rig so we ended up sticking out into the travel lane a bit. The electric posts looked brand new. We did not use the washrooms.

I like full hook-ups and 50 amp service when I camp. Therefore, I wasn't wild about staying in a parking lot with neighbors squeezed up close to me on both sides. It was tolerable because I was beautiful Banff National Park and I was more interested in the beauty of my surroundings than I was my campsite. We had only electricity at our site and 30amp service. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Village II Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome, towing a car. Nightly camping fee was $40.

Agree with the others parking lot feel with hook-ups. The sites are paved and somewhat level. The shower house was clean and had 6 showers that were free. Two dump stations at the exit to the campground. Be prepared to wait at check in as this park is so busy and the lines are long, but you do not have to get out of your vehicle. Stayed here in a class B RV.

Agree with the parking lot feel as someone else commented! But this campground sure is able to pack in a lot of rv's of all sizes. And being so close to Banff and Lake Louise was worth it. Clean well kept bathrooms although not really enough for the number of campers. We had a shared site with strangers which meant our rv's were 5 feet apart although each had their own hookups. Unfortunately, one side will have the hookups on the wrong side of the RV. Unfortunately we had that half of the site. So we could not hookup up to sewer and had to run electrical and water hose under our trailer to access this services. But there is a pump out (2 actually) at the exit so we used those on our way out on the last day. Very quiet at night. Didn't use the free shuttle into Banff but might do that in future because parking in Banff is tough to find.

Absolutely awesome views, great bus transportation to town and beyond, one star for each of those, but it feels like a parking lot more than campground. Sites have small gravel area with table, and 15/30/50 electrical service, alongside a wide asphalt road that rigs park along. No in site water or sewer. The original side, Tunnel Mountain, has a much more pleasant, "campground" feel to us.

Beautiful views. If you get a site with electricity make sure you have a long cord. The spots are designed with the electrical hookup at the passenger front of your RV not the drivers back where the hookups are. The sites Aldo have a parked on the side of the highway feel..... The views make up for it though.
