Exit I-8 and follow AZ 24 north about 22 mi to the turnoff on Senator Wash Rd. Turn onto Senator Wash Rd and follow it about 2 mi to the South Mesa area where there is a visitor contact station. The long term visitor area is on the California side of the Colorado River.
